This is a high-quality mineral gear oil that has been specifically developed for Caterpillar friction devices, like power shift transmissions, clutches and brakes and in other parts, such as final drives, bevel gears and differentials. This gear oil meets the Caterpillar requirements for use in transmissions, final drives and wet brakes (Cat TDTO). This oil has good fluidity at low temperatures, which results in very good cold-start properties. The oil proves protection of critical parts through its anti-wear and oxidation stability.
