Polyalphaolefin (PAO) Air Compressor Lubricants
Our product is a blend of top-quality synthetic PAO and ester base fluids, along with specially formulated additives. It is highly effective in providing long-term lubrication for screw, centrifugal, or reciprocating (piston-type) air compressors. These 100% synthetic oils are ideal for applications that require maximum compatibility with seals, paints, and plastics. COMP-PLUS Superior 32, Superior 46, and Superior 68 are intended for use in rotary screw and centrifugal air compressors, and can offer a typical service life of up to 8,000 hours or more under standard industrial operating conditions. COMP-PLUS Superior 100, Superior 150, and superior 220, on the other hand, are formulated for use in rotary vane and reciprocating compressors. Our product offers reduced compressor maintenance with very long drain intervals, up to 8 times longer than mineral oils. With low friction properties and resistance to viscosity increase from oxidation, it improves operating efficiency and helps save money on energy consumption. Additionally, it has excellent foam control that reduces heat, oxidation, and wear, and protects high-contact regions from wear to increase compressor life and efficiency. Its enhanced water separation properties help prevent unwanted oil/water formation, and it is fortified with anti-rust agents that make water easily drainable for simplified environmental discharge and increased oil life. It also has increased resistance to varnish, carbon, and acid formation, providing better protection and longer service life than petroleum oils, especially during hot operating conditions. Its low volatility means fewer problems with the oil getting into air tools, instruments, or the production process, and there is less oil to remove in the air/oil separators and fewer air filter changes. Moreover, its low carbon forming tendencies and relatively high flash, fire, and auto-ignition points significantly reduce fire and explosion possibilities. With a high viscosity index, it maintains adequate viscosity for proper lubrication regardless of temperature change, and it has excellent cold temperature starting and pumpability. Finally, it is compatible with all types of seals and coatings.
